Haley Hydrangea

Happy Wednesday friends! It's time for a new sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and this week we have a blast from the past sketch and a returning sponsor that is quickly becoming one of our fan favorites.

It's a quick and easy sketch to work with this week and also a repeat from November 2013. Give it a try and play along with us in the challenge!

Lacy Sunshine is our returning sponsor for the challenge this week. We have quickly fallen for the adorable images that Heather Valentin, the owner and artist, creates for her shop. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive three free digis from Lacy Sunshine.

I chose this darling Haley Hydrangea image from Lacy Sunshine's Flower Pot Pretties collection. What a sweet face she has and I love hydrangea flowers anyway so it was a perfect one to pick. Haley was brought to life using Copic markers and the papers in my stash are from Little Yellow Bicycle. I created the flower embellishments using a Martha Stewart hydrangea flower punch.

There are so many other beautiful creations using a variety of Lacy Sunshine images from the design team at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Pop on over to the site and take a peek.

Snoozing Jim

Welcome back! Today I'm showcasing a Father's Day card created with a Digi Stamp Boutique image for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.

Here's the sketch to follow for the challenge this week. Sally did a great job creating this one!

Yep - this is the week with Digi Stamp Boutique as our challenge sponsor! You can always find terrific inspiration with the variety of digis available in Sally Ann's store. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive a £10 voucher to the DSB store - a super prize. Thanks Sally Ann for your generous sponsorship!

This is an exact replica of my husband about 75% of the time! LOL! So of course I thought it was perfect for his Father's Day card, tee hee!  The image is Snoozing Ralph (in our house it is called Snoozing Jim). Old Ralph was colored with Copic markers and the papers are from This & That by Echo Park.

We have a lot of fun cards this week from the design team using Digi Stamp Boutique images. Hop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and take a look and then join us in the challenge!

Apple Mouse

It's time for another sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday! This week we're featuring the adorable digis from Sami Stamps so come play along with us.

This is a fabulous sketch from our own Sally. I love the layers that are off-kilter here for the interest they bring to the card.

Sami Stamps is our wonderful sponsor this week. We love creating with Samantha's creations. The grand prize winner will receive a $12 gift certificate to the Sami Stamps store. Thanks Samantha!

I chose Little Apple Mouse from Sami Stamps this week. I love this adorable mouse peeking out from behind the apple. It was colored with Copic markers and the papers I used are Basic Grey.

Now stop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see more creations with Sami Stamps - they are such beautiful inspiration from our design team.

Bonnet Birdie

Isn't this the cutest birdie in her spring bonnet? This is for the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday with Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor.

Here's the sketch to follow - a really terrific one created by Sally. I absolutely love how the finished card looks with this layout.

We all love to create with Bugaboo Stamps! One lucky winner of the challenge will receive 7 free digis from Bugaboo - a fantastic prize.  Thanks for sponsoring us Jodi!

The fun Bugaboo digi I used on my card is called Flower Bird. It was colored with Copic markers along with stickles and a glitter gel pen to spice it up in spots. The papers are those same dollar bin samples I've used before. I should have picked up a bunch of them because I love the fun patterns and colors.

So that's it for now - it's taken forever to do this post with the Blogger problems I've had today. But don't let that stop you from popping over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the design team cards created for your inspiration.
