Haley Hydrangea

Happy Wednesday friends! It's time for a new sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and this week we have a blast from the past sketch and a returning sponsor that is quickly becoming one of our fan favorites.

It's a quick and easy sketch to work with this week and also a repeat from November 2013. Give it a try and play along with us in the challenge!

Lacy Sunshine is our returning sponsor for the challenge this week. We have quickly fallen for the adorable images that Heather Valentin, the owner and artist, creates for her shop. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive three free digis from Lacy Sunshine.

I chose this darling Haley Hydrangea image from Lacy Sunshine's Flower Pot Pretties collection. What a sweet face she has and I love hydrangea flowers anyway so it was a perfect one to pick. Haley was brought to life using Copic markers and the papers in my stash are from Little Yellow Bicycle. I created the flower embellishments using a Martha Stewart hydrangea flower punch.

There are so many other beautiful creations using a variety of Lacy Sunshine images from the design team at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Pop on over to the site and take a peek.

Snoozing Jim

Welcome back! Today I'm showcasing a Father's Day card created with a Digi Stamp Boutique image for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.

Here's the sketch to follow for the challenge this week. Sally did a great job creating this one!

Yep - this is the week with Digi Stamp Boutique as our challenge sponsor! You can always find terrific inspiration with the variety of digis available in Sally Ann's store. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive a £10 voucher to the DSB store - a super prize. Thanks Sally Ann for your generous sponsorship!

This is an exact replica of my husband about 75% of the time! LOL! So of course I thought it was perfect for his Father's Day card, tee hee!  The image is Snoozing Ralph (in our house it is called Snoozing Jim). Old Ralph was colored with Copic markers and the papers are from This & That by Echo Park.

We have a lot of fun cards this week from the design team using Digi Stamp Boutique images. Hop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and take a look and then join us in the challenge!

Apple Mouse

It's time for another sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday! This week we're featuring the adorable digis from Sami Stamps so come play along with us.

This is a fabulous sketch from our own Sally. I love the layers that are off-kilter here for the interest they bring to the card.

Sami Stamps is our wonderful sponsor this week. We love creating with Samantha's creations. The grand prize winner will receive a $12 gift certificate to the Sami Stamps store. Thanks Samantha!

I chose Little Apple Mouse from Sami Stamps this week. I love this adorable mouse peeking out from behind the apple. It was colored with Copic markers and the papers I used are Basic Grey.

Bonnet Birdie

Isn't this the cutest birdie in her spring bonnet? This is for the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday with Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor.

Here's the sketch to follow - a really terrific one created by Sally. I absolutely love how the finished card looks with this layout.

We all love to create with Bugaboo Stamps! One lucky winner of the challenge will receive 7 free digis from Bugaboo - a fantastic prize.  Thanks for sponsoring us Jodi!

The fun Bugaboo digi I used on my card is called Flower Bird. It was colored with Copic markers along with stickles and a glitter gel pen to spice it up in spots. The papers are those same dollar bin samples I've used before. I should have picked up a bunch of them because I love the fun patterns and colors.

So that's it for now - it's taken forever to do this post with the Blogger problems I've had today. But don't let that stop you from popping over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the design team cards created for your inspiration.

Rainboots With Tulips

Well I don't know how my schedule got so messed up this week thinking that today is Wednesday but it did. I guess I should be pleasantly surprised and thankful that I'm one day closer to the weekend than I thought I was!  So here is my inspiration for the sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday today...

Here's the sketch to follow - a blast from the past sketch created by Arlana Patten and it just look terrific.

Patties Creations Digital Stamps
Pattie Gomez, owner and illustrator of Pattie's Creations is our sponsor this week. We all love using Pattie's images. The grand prize winner of the challenge this week will receive two free images from Pattie's Creations.  Thanks Pattie!

I chose this wonderful image Rainboots With Tulips and colored it with Copic markers. The papers that I love for their bright, sunny colors are from the dollar bin at a local store.  Tulips are my favorite flower so I love this time of year where they are popping up all over and naturally loved this image!

Now stop on by the Sweet Sketch Wednesday site and see the other inspiration created by the design team using Pattie's Creations images.

Brooke

Isn't this a fun image? It's from Dilly Beans, the sponsor of our new sketch challenge starting today at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Here's the sketch to follow - a terrific one I say!

Megan Suarez, the owner and illustrator of images at Dilly Beans digi stamps is our sponsor this week and we love creating with her "big eye art" stamps. The grand prize winner of the challenge this week will receive three free digis from Dilly Beans. Thanks Megan for sponsoring us!

I chose this Dilly Beans image called Brooke and colored her with Copic markers. The papers are by Cosmo Cricket. A little dimension was added by popping up the flower in her hair and also duplicating the same flower for the corner embellishment in the sketch.

Now take a minute and pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the other Dilly Beans images we're featuring and the wonderful and creative cards the design team is showing off to inspire you.

Forget-Me-Nots

Welcome back to a new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday featuring my absolute favorite sponsor, A Day For Daisies.  This will be a quick post - I'm vacationing in Florida and soaking up the heat of the sun after a long, cold Michigan winter!

Here's the sketch to follow for our challenge this week.  It's pretty simple but I think it looks terrific with a lot of possibilities for embellishment.  Give it a try!

I just love the images that Tammy creates at A Day For Daisies. I find them so inspiring and so beautiful colored up.  A Day For Daisies is our sponsor this week and is providing a $12 gift certificate to the grand prize winner of our challenge. Thanks Tammy for your generous sponsorship and wonderful images!

For my inspiration card, I chose this lovely image called Delivery Bonnet from A Day For Daisies. I see blue Forget-Me-Not flowers when I look at this image so I colored it up that way using Copic markers. And of course, yellow is a perfect color to combine with the blue. The papers are from Pebbles.

We have such beautiful sample cards with A Day For Daisies images at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Stop on over there for more inspiration!

Cow Are You?

Isn't this such a fun card? The images are from a new sponsor, Deedee's Digis, for the new challenge starting today at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. But first let's start with the sketch for the week...

Here you go - it's another good one from our own Sally. I like the checkerboard background on this one. Just create a card using this layout and play along with us this week!

Help spread the word!
We welcome Deedee's Digis as our new sponsor of the challenge this week. Created by Deedee Anderson, you'll find a ton of wonderful image sets to play with. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Deedee's Digis. Thanks for your generous sponsorship Deedee!

The set I'm featuring is called Cow Are You from Deedee's Digis. It comes with individual cow images in precolored and line drawn versions. There are black and white cows in the set too along with the cow print digital papers and sentiments.  A terrific value! I chose the precolored version here along with the complimentary papers.

We had such a good time creating inspiration for you with Deedee's Digis - hop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out our sample cards using the new challenge sketch.
