Sweet Witch

Hi friends! Halloween is just around the corner and we're celebrating it at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 with our sponsor The Stamping Boutique. The challenge this week has a blast from the past sketch and a TWIST - everything orange and Halloween! Hope you'll join us in the fun this week.

This is a terrific sketch originally created by Arlana Patten from the original Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I have always loved this one and how it turns out.

The Stamping Boutique
The Stamping Boutique is our sponsor for the challenge this week. Tracey Malnofski, the owner and artist, creates such wonderful images. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive 3 free digi images from The Stamping Boutique and if the winner uses a TSB image, they'll get 4 digis! What a fantastic prize - thanks Tracey!

I adore this sweet witch that Tracey offers in her shop. It's part of the Smoochie Halloween Kit containing four separate images. It was colored with Copic markers, embellished with stickles for some magical sparkles and combined with papers from Authentique that I had in my stash from last year. This is the kind of witch I like to see on Halloween!

Now stop on by Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 to see the other Halloween witches and goblins we created for your inspiration.  Happy Halloween everyone!

Vintage Flowers

Welcome back friends. Here's my card for the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I chose to go with a bit of a vintage look this week with the image from The Stamping Boutique.

It's a fun and easy to put together sketch for the challenge that Sally drew up. Give it a try and join us in the challenge!

We're sponsored this week by Tracey Malnofski, the owner of The Stamping Boutique. Tracey offers a wonderful selection of digi stamps that are unique, whimsical and super fun to create with. The grand prize winner of the SSW2 challenge will receive three free digis from The Stamping Boutique. But... if the grand prize winner has used an image from The Stamping Boutique they will receive four free digis!  What a great way to motivate you to use our sponsor's images!  Thanks Tracey for your generous sponsorship!

I used Flowers 1 from The Stamping Boutique for my card. I popped up two of the flowers for added dimension.  It was colored with Copic markers, the papers are from My Mind's Eye and the embellishments from my stash.

Now stop on by Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the wonderful selection of cards from the design team using The Stamping Boutique images.

Tulip Fairy

Happy Wednesday friends! We have a terrific sketch this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and a sponsor we haven't had in a while so I'm excited to get started - shall we?!

I love how this sketch turns out in real life.  Just looking at it it seems a bit plain but use some designer pattern papers, a digi stamp that fills out the circle and you have a really interesting card.  I hope you'll give it a try this week.

It's been a long time since we've featured The Stamping Boutique as our sponsor and we're thrilled this week that Tracy Malinowsky, the owner and illustrator of the images, has agree to sponsor our challenge. You will love the darling images at The Stamping Boutique. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive three free images and if you use a digi stamp from The Stamping Boutique on your card and also win, you will receive four free images!  What a fun way to encourage your use of The Stamping Boutique images! Thanks Tracy for your generous sponsorship!

I chose this sweet, pretty stamp called Tulip Fairy from The Stamping Boutique. It fits the sketch this week to a tee! It was colored with Copic markers and the papers are some of my favorites in my stash from American Crafts. I liberally used a glitter gel pen on all the little dots, sparkle stars and etc on this stamp so this is quite magical looking in real life.

Now, head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and see the fabulous creations the design team created for your inspiration and then join us in the challenge this week!

Hey there Cupcake!

Hello friends and happy Wednesday!  We've had such wonderful weather here in Michigan so far this winter.  The other day it even got up to 50 degrees - hard to believe those temps in February!

Today is Sweet Sketch Wednesday - the start of a new challenge with a terrific sketch to follow and another favorite sponsor.

We've brought back another sketch from the past - this time from week 47.  This one is good for multiple design papers or can be done with less. We have some wonderful samples from the design team Divas over at the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog.

The Stamping Boutique
We're so happy to have The Stamping Boutique as our sponsor this week.  The Grand Prize winner of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week will receive their choice of three digi stamps from The Stamping Boutique.  Thanks to Tracy for this super prize package!

Tracy Malnofski is the owner and a designer for The Stamping Boutique.  She's also a stamp artist for Unity Stamp Company and has worked for InStyle Stamps, Squigglefly and The Digi Shack.  She's a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in her community.  Her "Boutique" has it all - fairytale, whimsy, sentimental ... and candy!  If you're not familiar with TSB, you'll just be thrilled with the wonderful images and selection there - give them a visit!

I chose this fun Cupcake from The Stamping Boutique to create with and provide some inspiration for you. You can always use cupcakes - for birthdays and many other occasions. This one is also perfect for Valentines with the sweet little hearts on it.  I paired this image with papers from My Mind's Eye "Life of the Party" collection for a fun birthday card.  It was colored with Copics and dressed up a bit with my sparkly gel pen.

I hope you'll join in the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week. Create a card using The Stamping Boutique images to qualify for the grand prize.  We love seeing the creativity of our participants week after week - come play along with us!

Buttons and Bows at SCH

Today begins a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow and this week we're looking for cards or paper projects with buttons and bows. We have a terrific sponsor this week with a great prize package for a lucky winner.

The Stamping Boutique is our sponsor and Tracey Malnofski, the owner, is providing a prize package of 3 digi stamps and 1 digi paper pack as the weekly challenge prize. There is a wonderful selection of beautiful stamps at The Stamping Boutique - take a peek at the store.

To be eligible for the terrific prize, just enter a card created in a vintage or shabby chic style with buttons and bows on it.  We'll select a winner at random of all the entries for the prize.  The design team will also select a favorite and that person will be eligible to be a guest designer with our team.

On my card this week, I've used the "Apron" digi from The Stamping Boutique and paper pieced it with digital papers from Shabby Miss Jenn Designs "Seaside Picnic" digi kit. I added a bow and some buttons and that was it. An interesting card that was so fun and easy to create.

I hope you'll join us in the challenge this week. In the meantime, stop on over to Sugar Creek Hollow and see the other fun images we're highlighting from The Stamping Boutique on the design team inspiration cards.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday #103

I can't believe it's already Wednesday - this week is flying by and that makes me very happy! Sweet Sketch Wednesday also makes me happy and today is the start of a new challenge and new sponsor there.

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique, owned by Tracey Malnofski, a wonderful digi and rubber stamp company with such a terrific selection of images. The Grand Prize winner of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week will receive 5 free digis of their choice from The Stamping Boutique.  Thanks for the generous prize Tracey!

Here's the sketch to follow this week - lots of layers and a unique design but wonderfully accomodating of larger images like the one I used today on my card. Great sketch Arlana!

I thought this would be a fun image to create with. It's called "Cupcake Bakery" from The Stamping Boutique. It was colored with Copics and a bunch of glitter added with the use of a glitter gel pen - just the right amount of sparkle!  The papers are from Jillibean Soup's Blossom Soup collection and the yellow DP behind the image is Echo Park "Summer Days".

And finally, a handmade flower as a finishing touch to the card and by using the same papers, it perfectly coordinates and fits right in!

You just have to see the cards that the Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team is showing - what beauties! And with a variety of digis from The Stamping Boutique. Head on over to see and play in our challenge this week - guaranteed fun for you I promise!
