Too Sweet Kitty

Happy Wednesday friends! It's been quite a week in my neck of the woods. My son is off at the U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar - a special week for prospective admission candidates - and he's getting quite the submersion in the rigors of a Navy career. Our correspondence has been very brief throughout the week which just keeps thoughts of him in my mind every day wondering how things are going.  And we're in the midst of prep for high school finals on top of that. I'm looking forward to their summer break with a more relaxed pace the next few months.

Today's new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday features Meljen's Designs - some of the card-making world's most favored digi stamps. It's been a little while here since we've had the opportunity to create with Melissa's whimical images and it was fun to use them again.

Here's the sketch for the challenge this week created by our own Sally from the design team. I love Sally's sketches and this one was fun to create with and suits just about any image you would have.

We welcome back Meljen's Designs as the sponsor of this week's challenge.  The Grand Prize winner of the challenge will receive 4 adorable digis of their choice from Meljen's Designs - a very generous prize package. Thanks Melissa!

Here's a little more about Meljen's Designs:

For the challenge this week, I created my card using Meljen's Designs "Too Sweet Kitty" digi and this cat is definitely sweet! It's perfect for all occasions and celebrations too. I brought it to life with Copic markers and used papers from MME Tangerine collection.

To see more of Melissa's fabulous digis, visit Sweet Sketch Wednesday where you'll get lots of inspiration from the design team's creations this week.  I hope you'll join us in the challenge too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sharon, I wish your son the very best. My husband was in the navy. It is so hard to let our kids grow up and let them go off into the world. Your card is so adorable. I love how you have done your bow on the twine you have used. Have a great week.
Hugs, Nancy
