Hi Friends! Isn't this an amazing image? It's from
Sweet Pea Stamps, a new sponsor for our challenge starting today at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Here's the sketch for this week's challenge. It's a blast from the past sketch, first appearing in
September 2011 and designed by Arlana Patten.
We are so happy to announce
Sweet Pea Stamps as a new sponsor at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. You'll find a wonderful variety of images from many unique artists at Sweet Pea. Take a look at the website and you'll see some fantastic digis.
The image I chose for my inspiration card today is by artist Norma J Burnell and is called
Mid-Summer Dragonflies. I love the drama of this image and it was a challenge to color with all of its elements. I used Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils to create this look. The papers are by Basic Grey.
Now take a stroll over to
Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the variety of images selected by the design team. There's everything from dramatic to adorable there to inspire you to join us in the challenge this week.
Thanks for stopping by!
