I have a fun birthday card to show you today for the start of the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday! This week our sponsor is Bugaboo and I thought this hysterical image would be appreciated by one of my co-workers that runs our recycling and waste reduction efforts! But first let's show the fantastic sketch for the challenge this week.
Isn't this sketch drawn by our Sally just terrific? I love the look of it when using a variety of papers and patterns. Lots can be done with the embellishments too as our design team is showing this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Who doesn't love the fun images that Jodi creates for Bugaboo Stamps? I have to admit that her Stella character cracks me up and with her sentiments, I can totally relate to each one of them! If you love them as much as we do at Sweet Sketch Wednesday you'll have to play along this week because the Grand Prize Winner will receive seven free digis totaling $21 as the prize. Thanks for your generous sponsorship Jodi!
This fun stamp from Bugaboo is called Stella Birthday-29 Again and it makes for a chuckle or two on a birthday card, especially for us middle-age folks! Here it was colored with Copic markers and the bright papers used are from My Mind's Eye Happy Day collection. The flowers were made with a variety of SU punches and flower brads from my stash.
Now, as I mentioned, the design team creations this week with this sketch are just outstanding and very creative - sure to inspire you to join us in the challenge. Pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and take a look.

Snoozing !
Welcome back for another challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday! We're featuring our monthly sponsor, Digi Stamp Boutique, this week and hoping you'll join in the challenge fun.
It's a blast from the past sketch week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This one originally appeared in week 122 and is a terrific sketch that's quick to put together but has great appeal.
Sally Ann at Digi Stamp Boutique is the sponsor for this week's challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. You'll find hundreds of fun images at DSB for any occasion. We just love creating with DSB digis! The Grand Prize winner of challenge will receive six free digis of their choice from Digi Stamp Boutique - a fantastic prize! You have to be in it to win it so start creating those card with the sketch provided!
This is such a perfect image for the Father's Day card I created for my husband. It's called "Snoozing Stan" from Digi Stamp Boutique but you could easily call it Snoozing Jim for my household. The kids thought this was a great card for their dad - very typically of a weekend morning in our house and because of the sentiment, since he always says I'm just going to relax for minute and then this is the result!
Now head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the rest of the fun cards created for your inspiration using Digi Stamp Boutique images.

Contemplating....
Happy Wednesday friends! It's time for another new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we have a terrific sketch and new sponsor this week. Let's get started...
Our team mate, Sally, created this fabulous sketch for the challenge this week. I love the woven look of the strips and ribbon on the left - it adds such great interest to this layout.
Stamp-n-Doodle is a new sponsor here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we're delighted to spotlight the wonderful digis offered there by Lynne, the owner. Lots of realistic child images and animals can be found at Stamp-n-Doodle. The Grand Prize winner of this week's challenge will receive 2 free digi images of their choice from Stamp-n-Doodle. Thanks for joining our sponsorship rolls Lynne and your generous prize offering!
I chose this sweet girl called "Feeling Down" for my card sample this week. It looks more like she is contemplating something than being sad or down and this image intrigued me. She was colored with Copics and the papers used are from Stampin Up.

Too Sweet Kitty
Happy Wednesday friends! It's been quite a week in my neck of the woods. My son is off at the U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar - a special week for prospective admission candidates - and he's getting quite the submersion in the rigors of a Navy career. Our correspondence has been very brief throughout the week which just keeps thoughts of him in my mind every day wondering how things are going. And we're in the midst of prep for high school finals on top of that. I'm looking forward to their summer break with a more relaxed pace the next few months.
Today's new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday features Meljen's Designs - some of the card-making world's most favored digi stamps. It's been a little while here since we've had the opportunity to create with Melissa's whimical images and it was fun to use them again.
Here's the sketch for the challenge this week created by our own Sally from the design team. I love Sally's sketches and this one was fun to create with and suits just about any image you would have.
We welcome back Meljen's Designs as the sponsor of this week's challenge. The Grand Prize winner of the challenge will receive 4 adorable digis of their choice from Meljen's Designs - a very generous prize package. Thanks Melissa!
Here's a little more about Meljen's Designs:

For the challenge this week, I created my card using Meljen's Designs "Too Sweet Kitty" digi and this cat is definitely sweet! It's perfect for all occasions and celebrations too. I brought it to life with Copic markers and used papers from MME Tangerine collection.
