Happy Wednesday friends! I hope all my U.S. friends have their Thanksgiving feast shopping done and are ready for your gatherings of friends and families. I love the long Thanksgiving weekend and am looking forward to the feast and relaxation. Here's wishing all of you a happy Thanksgiving too!
Today's card is perfect for this holiday and it kicks off the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday today with Eureka Stamps as our sponsor.
Here's the sketch to follow for the challenge. It's a nice one and shows off coordinating papers and embellishments - you always have to have a place for those embellies! I hope you'll give it a try and join us this week.
For this challenge, Eureka Stamps is our sponsor and we had such a great time using the variety of digital stamps available there. The grand prize winner of the challenge this week will receive 5 digital images of their choice from Eureka Stamps. A fantastic prize and we're very thankful for the generous sponsorship of Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I chose this adorable Indian girl from Eureka Stamps called Indian Harvest Girl. She was colored with Copic markers, paired with designer papers from the All Spice collection from MME. The corn embellishments are buttons - I just cut the shanks off of them to mount them flush to the card. I distressed the edges of the image panel - really smudged one area and decided I like the effect so repeated it all around the edge of the oval.
Now pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the wonderful samples the design team created using Eureka Stamps to inspire you. You'll love their creativity and selection of images.

Bailey Reindeer
Welcome friends and followers! Today we have a new challenge starting at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and our sponsor is Digi Stamp Boutique.
Here's the sketch to follow designed by our own Arlana. It goes together quick without a lot of fussy cutting or diecuts. I hope you'll give it a try and join us this week.
Digi Stamp Boutique is our loyal monthly sponsor and is providing the prize package this week to the Grand Prize winner of the challenge. The prize is a £10 gift certificate to the Digi Stamp Boutique online store. Thanks Sally Anne for your generous sponsorship month after month!
I chose this adorable reindeer image from Digi Stamp Boutique to create with. He's called Bailey and comes in a set of three different scenes - a fabulous value and the set is on sale right now at their shop. I colored it up with Copic markers, added some crystal lacquer for his nose and the stars, used some stickles around the edge of the focal panel and embellished it with a punched star and some glittery snowflakes.
Now head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the fabulous card creations the design team has made to inspire you.

Vintage Beauty
Boy this week is flying by - it's Wednesday already and time for a new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We have one my favorite sponsors this week - A Day For Daisies. I am especially proud of this creation today - a vintage feel to it with the lace paper, beautiful rose embellishments and antique brad. And of course, all inspired by the vintage image. More about that later.
First let's look at this wonderful sketch for this week's challenge created by our own Arlana. It even looks vintage to me. I love this for those bigger print papers and some spectacular embellishments. I hope it inspires you to create with it and join us in the challenge!
We are always so happy to have A Day For Daisies as our sponsor. There are so many gorgeous images illustrated by Tammy, it's usually a hard choice to pick one. The grand prize winner of this week's challenge will get to pick more than one! The prize package is a $12 gift certificate to A Day For Daisies! A very generous prize and we thank Tammy for her wonderful sponsorship of Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
This beautiful vintage woman was fun and challenging to color with Copic markers. I love the detail of the bow on her bonnet. The image is called Lady Hat Bow and I think she's stunning. The papers are from LilyBee Design called Head Over Heels. I thought they also had a vintage feel to them.
Now stop on by Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see more beautiful cards with A Day For Daisies images. You'll be glad you did!

Stocking Puppy
Welcome back my friends and followers! Hard to believe it November now - the days are just flying by and pretty soon Christmas will be here. So I've created a Christmas card to inspire you to play along in the new sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Here's the sketch for this week. It's a blast from the past sketch - one of our favorites being repurposed from Week 101 when it originally appeared back in May 2011. I like the main image panel off-kilter - it adds more interest that way.
Our sponsor this week is Melissa Jenkins, the owner and illustrator at Meljen's Designs. We love the sweet, whimsical images that Melissa creates. The grand prize winner of the challenge will receive four non-colored digis of their choice from Meljen's Designs. A fantastic prize package - thanks Melissa for your generous sponsorship!
I chose this darling little dog image from Meljen's Designs called "Stocking Puppy" to create my Christmas card. He is such a happy thing! He was brought to life with Copic markers, and the image was enhanced with stickles to make it sparkly and a dab of crystal lacquer to his nose. The papers are from My Mind's Eye "Merry Little Christmas" collection. The sparkly and silver brads are Stampin' Up.
Now join us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see all the adorable cards made with images from Meljen's Designs - all created to inspire you to play along with us this week!
