Look At That Hair !

Welcome back friends! The long holiday weekend here has my schedule all warped and off kilter - yikes a bit behind on this post announcing the new sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. We really have some wonderful creations to show off using digi stamps from our new sponsor this week, Make It Crafty.

First let's show this unusual but lovely sketch that our Sally created for the challenge. I love those cascading circles! A terrific layout for any occasion - hope you'll give it a try and join in the challenge fun this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

For those of you who love your Copic markers, Make It Crafty digi images are right up your alley. Make It Crafty is a new sponsor debuting this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we're thrilled to have them and  loved creating with the images that Zoe has in the shop there. What's really cool are the coloring tutorials that Zoe provides here. Take a look, you'll learn a lot!  The Grand Prize Winner of the challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Make It Crafty - a super generous prize!  Thanks Zoe for your amazing sponsorship!

I chose this gorgeous image from Make It Crafty called "Aleisha" and loved the challenge of coloring those incredible locks of hair with my Copic markers. Isn't she wonderful?  The pretty papers are DCWV Violet Leaf and I like the color combination of them.

Little Miss Mouse

Hi there friends and followers! What a great selection of cards we are showing off today at Sweet Sketch Wednesday as we kick off another challenge this week.  We're featuring the beautifully detailed images from Elisabeth Bell who is the sponsor of the challenge and you'll be so inspired by what we're showing today. Let's get started...

Here's the fun sketch - a blast from the past layout first appearing in Week 60 of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenges.  The circles in the background provide such a nice backdrop to the main image panel.

Elisabeth Bell Designs is our sponsor this week and we all love the sweet digis Elisabeth creates.  The Grand Prize winner of the challenge will receive two of the following images as the prize:

Little Miss Mouse
Merry Weather
Miss You Love You
I created my card with the lovely "Little Miss Mouse" image and I just love the dreamy look of this dear, sweet image.  It was colored with Copics and I glittered the fairy's wings.  Gold half rounds add more sparkle on the flower centers, on the butterfly embellishment and along the diecut frame. The papers are my all time favorites from October Afternoon.

The Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team has created such gorgeous cards this week to inspire you - all of them using the feature images from Elisabeth Bell.  Stop on by SSW and check them out and then play along with the challenge this week - we'd love to see what you create!

Wise Winston

Oh my goodness! What happened with blogger while I was traveling last week? Totally missed my post for Sweet Sketch Wednesday and what a shock that was when I logged in  this morning! Well here it finally is and I hope it inspires you to join us in the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week.

We have another terrific sketch from Sally this week. I like the added flair of the rounded corners and the ribbon treatment overlapping the image on this one.

Digi Stamp Boutique is our sponsor this week. Sally Ann is always so generous in providing prizes for our winners each month.  The Grand Prize winner of the challenge will receive 6 free digi images of their choice from Digi Stamp Boutique - a fabulous prize for all the fans of Sally Ann's images! Thanks Sally Ann!

I love the character Winston the owl at Digi Stamp Boutique and this one is perfect for all the graduation cards I'm needing this year. This image is aptly called "Winston Graduation" and he's so cute. He was colored with Copics and paired with papers from MME "Fiddlesticks" collection.

So there you have it - better late than never!  Now stop on by Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the other fun creations with Digi Stamp Boutique images and then join us in the fun challenge!

Buddy

Hi there Sweet Sketch Wednesday fans! We have a new sketch challenge starting today with our all time favorite A Day For Daisies as our sponsor.

Here's the sketch for this week - another fab one from Sally on our team. I love the oval placement here.

A Day For Daisies is our sponsor this week and I just love the images that Tammi creates there.  Our Grand Prize winner will receive a $12 gift certificate from A Day For Daisies - a terrific prize! You have to play to win so join us this week in the fun!

To create my card this week I choose the image "Buddy" from A Day For Daisies. I love this image that shows the companionship of a boy with his dog. It was brought to life with Copic markers and the papers are from MME's Gnome Sweet Gnome line.

The Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team has some amazing creations this week using A Day For Daisies images. You'll love the inspiration they've created for you so stop on by and play along with us this week.

Thanks for visiting today!

It's a fun and quick-go-together sketch this week created by our own Sally Dube.  I know you'll want to give this one a try!  Terrific sketch Sally!
