Welcome back friends and followers! What a busy week we're having - it's senior week at the high school with Prom and honors ceremonies all leading up to my son's graduation on Sunday. It's a miracle I even remembered to post my card for this week's challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday!
Before I get on with the challenge, I just have to share this photo of Nick in his Prom tux. So grown up!
On to the sketch for this week's challenge - a blast from the past sketch as the last challenge of the month. This first appeared in week 192 at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Follow the link to see what our team created then with this sketch. Also this week we have a TWIST - P is for Purple - so get those cards all purpled up for this one!
A Day For Daisies is our sponsor this week - a personal favorite digi stamp company. I just love the beautiful images created by Tammy there. The lucky grand prize winner of our challenge will receive a $12 gift certificate to the ADFD online store. Thanks Tammy for your generous sponsorship and sharing your wonderful stamps with our team!
I chose this sweet "Lucky Delivery" image for my card - isn't she adorable? It was brought to life with Copic markers and a combination of purple designer papers from my enormous stash! I tried to create a vintage look to my card with week with some detail punches on the corners, a unique die cut, pearls, lace and a little ink distressing on the edges.
Now head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the gorgeous cards the team created with A Day For Daisies images. It is an exceptional week of creativity and inspiration there!

Reminding Me of Olivia
Isn't she sweet? She reminds me of my niece Olivia and is my inspiration for you today for the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
I absolutely adore this sketch that Sally drew up for the challenge. So many possibilities with the basket-weaving behind the image. I chose to use ribbon but cut strips of coordinating designer papers or lace would work just as nicely. It's fun to put together so give it a try and join us this week at SSW.
Sally Ann and her shop Digi Stamp Boutique is our sponsor this week. Every month it's a treat to create cards using DSB images. The lucky grand prize winner will receive a £10 voucher to the Digi Stamp Boutique store. Thanks Sally Ann for your generous sponsorship of our challenges every month!
I chose this stamp from the Rosie Collection 1 from Digi Stamp Boutique. As I said, my niece used to pull her hair into ponytails like this with a headband. I had to have this darling Rosie when I saw it. She was brought to life with Copic markers and I used Stampin' Up designer paper for the background of the card. I love this bright, perky paper!
Now stop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the fantastic cards the design team created using the challenge sketch - they will get you motivated to create yourself!

Papercraft Toodle
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday to all of you! Yes, it's time for a new challenge and we have some fun cards and a terrific sketch today for you at SSW2.
This is a great sketch that Sally drew up for the challenge this week. I like the diamond shapes because they are unusual and grab attention. I hope you give it a try and join us in the challenge.
We welcome back Broken Box Stock as our sponsor this week. Wendy Sefcik is the owner/illustrator at Broken Box and I love the unique whimsical images she creates. The grand prize winner will receive three free digital images from Broken Box - a fantastic prize! Thanks Wendy!
I'm featuring Papercraft Toodle from Broken Box Stock on my card today. It was colored with Copic markers and the papers are from Stampin' Up. I've had that "Been There Stamped That" stamp for ages and thought it was perfect here. All in all it makes for a fun card for a stamping buddy of mine.
Now head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and see the great inspiration cards our team made for you and the challenge this week.

Pocket of Flowers
We have a great new sketch this week in the challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. And, we're welcoming back Meljen's Designs as our sponsor with a terrific prize package.
Here's the fab sketch to follow when you play along with us this week. I just adore how it turns out and there's so many possibilities with diecuts, doilies, etc.
We love to create with Meljen's Designs whimsical images all illustrated by the super talented Melissa Jenkins. The grand prize winner of the challenge this week will receive four non-colored digital images of their choice from Meljen's Designs. Thanks for your generous sponsorship Melissa!
I choose this adorable Flowers In My Pocket image from Meljen's Designs and colored it with Copic markers. I popped up the red flower to add some dimension and added lots of shimmer with a glitter pen on all the stitching and detail lines throughout the image.
Now pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out the beautiful cards created by the design team to inspire you.
