Love Fruit

Welcome back friends and followers! Today kicks off another challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we're hoping you'll join us in the fun this week.

This sketch is just perfect for the bigger stamps and digi images with the large circle focal panel. And it provides for a combination of coordinated designer papers too. My favorite kind of sketch! I hope you'll give it a try!

Milk 'n Coffee is our sponsor this week and who doesn't adore the sweet girly images that are created by Esmeralda and Nathaza there. We love creating with these darling digi stamps. You will too! The Grand Prize winner of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week will receive three free digi images of their choice from Milk 'n Coffee. Thanks for your generous support and sponsorship Esme and Nathaza!

I chose this sweet Lisbeth and Love Fruit image from Milk 'n Coffee to create with this week. She is just gorgeous with this sketch and fun to color with Copic markers. The papers are Happy Day by MME.

Now you'll just have to stop by Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the gorgeous cards the design team created for your inspiration using Milk 'n Coffee images - they are exceptional this week and you just won't want to miss it!

Gone Bananas !

Well I've just gone bananas - literally - with this cute card for the new sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday starting today!

Here's our fun sketch this week - a blast from the past sketch, originally designed by Arlana for Week 149 of our challenges. It's a sketch that goes together fast and can look clean and simple or fussy depending on the designer papers you use for the background.

Here's another take on the sketch when it originally appeared back in April 2012.

Our sponsor this week is Paper Addictions and Jackie Matthews the owner and designer of the cute images you'll find there.  The Grand Prize winner of the sketch challenge will receive five digi stamps from the Paper Addictions Etsy Shop. Thanks Jackie for your generous sponsorship of Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

I chose this adorable monkey from Paper Addictions and he's so happy with his stash of bananas - appropriately it's called "Gone Bananas".  He was colored with Copic markers, the papers used are from Reminisce Monkey Business collection and I found the perfect embellishments at my craft store - monkey and banana buttons!

Stop on by Sweet Sketch Wednesday to see the other darling Paper Addictions images that the design team created for your inspiration with challenge this week! You'll go bananas over those too!

Teddy Bear Wishes

Today we start a new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday using the wonderful images from Digi Stamp Boutique and a fun new sketch.

Our own Sally created this one which is quick and easy to go together and is great for some creative embellishments. I hope you give this one a try and join us in the challenge this week.

Digi Stamp Boutique is our monthly sponsor and we're featuring a terrific selection of images this week that Sally Ann offers there. Sally Ann's generous sponsorship includes 6 free digi images to the Grand Prize Winner of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.  Thanks Sally Ann!

I choose this adorable new Bobbi teddy bear created at Digi Stamp Boutique to create with this week. Doesn't he just look soft and cuddly?  Totally adorable with his own teddy too. The digi was colored with Copic markers and paired with Summer Fresh papers from Simple Stories.  The ticket embellishments were cut from a sheet of the paper pad and stamped with the sentiment.

Now it's time to pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the other creative cards that our design team created with Digi Stamp Boutique images. And then after that, give a try with the sketch and join us in the challenge!

Ocean's Little Girl

Welcome back my friends. Today, we have a new sketch challenge starting at Sweet Sketch Wednesday with an all-time favorite sponsor of ours and our fans - A Day For Daisies. My card was created to celebrate the birthday of a sweet friend of mine at work and she loved it!

First let's start with this elegant sketch for you to follow by our talented Sally Dube. This looks terrific and is quick to go together so I hope you'll give it a try and join us in the challenge this week.

I always love creating with the wonderful images that Tammy creates at A Day For Daisies. You'll find a huge selection of digi stamps there, from whimsical to children to beautiful vintage-looking images. As the sponsor of our Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week, Tammy is generously providing the grand prize winner a $12 gift certificate to the A Day For Daisies digi stamp shop. You have to be in it to win it as they say, so get out your supplies and start creating with our sketch!

I chose this beautiful mermaid image called "Oceans Little Girl" from A Day For Daisies to create my inspiration card for you this week. I think our sketch this week is just perfect for it. She was brought to life with Copic markers and then glittered up. I sponged the cloud effect in the background to fill the white space in the oval. The paper is Teresa Collins' Fabrications Canvas collection and the cardstock and ruffly ribbon is the new in-color Pistachio Pudding from SU.

So there you have it for this week. I hope I've inspired you to join in the fun this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. Now stop on by SSW to see the beautiful creations with A Day For Daisies images the design team made to entice you to play along!

What's Cooking?

Happy Wednesday friends!  We have such great news to share at Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week. Our sweet Arlana is back with us creating her fun sketches and terrific cards and we're so glad she's doing better! Be sure to stop by and wish her well!

Here's the great sketch for the challenge this week. I love the clean lines and simplicity of this one created by our team mate Sally. It goes together quick and the square focal panel fits just about any stamp or digi design.
Our sponsor this week is Clearly Digi Stamps owned and operated by Lori McCroskey from the parent company Clear Dollar Stamps LLC. Clearly Digi Stamps is a home-based business run by moms from the basement of Lori's home in Pleasant Hope, Missouri. Six different designers create the digi sets that are sold at incredibly affordable prices in the CDS Store. The Grand Prize Winner of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week will receive a $25 gift certificate for digi stamps at Clearly Digi Stamps. Thanks Lori for your generous sponsorship this week!

I chose this fun digi set from Clearly Digi Stamps called What's Cooking. I thought it would make a good birthday card for a guy. So I kept the embellishments simple and the papers not so fussy. It was colored with Copic markers and the papers are My Minds Eye - A Mother's Love collection.

Now pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the terrific collection of cards using a variety of Clearly Digi Stamps images. You'll love the inspiration they provide!

...Talk About Recycling !

I have a fun birthday card to show you today for the start of the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday! This week our sponsor is Bugaboo and I thought this hysterical image would be appreciated by one of my co-workers that runs our recycling and waste reduction efforts!  But first let's show the fantastic sketch for the challenge this week.

Isn't this sketch drawn by our Sally just terrific? I love the look of it when using a variety of papers and patterns. Lots can be done with the embellishments too as our design team is showing this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
Who doesn't love the fun images that Jodi creates for Bugaboo Stamps? I have to admit that her Stella character cracks me up and with her sentiments, I can totally relate to each one of them!  If you love them as much as we do at Sweet Sketch Wednesday you'll have to play along this week because the Grand Prize Winner will receive seven free digis totaling $21 as the prize.  Thanks for your generous sponsorship Jodi!

This fun stamp from Bugaboo is called Stella Birthday-29 Again and it makes for a chuckle or two on a birthday card, especially for us middle-age folks! Here it was colored with Copic markers and the bright papers used are from My Mind's Eye Happy Day collection. The flowers were made with a variety of SU punches and flower brads from my stash.

Now, as I mentioned, the design team creations this week with this sketch are just outstanding and very creative - sure to inspire you to join us in the challenge.  Pop on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and take a look.

Snoozing !

Welcome back for another challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday! We're featuring our monthly sponsor, Digi Stamp Boutique, this week and hoping you'll join in the challenge fun.

It's a blast from the past sketch week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This one originally appeared in week 122 and is a terrific sketch that's quick to put together but has great appeal.

Sally Ann at Digi Stamp Boutique is the sponsor for this week's challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. You'll find hundreds of fun images at DSB for any occasion. We just love creating with DSB digis!  The Grand Prize winner of challenge will receive six free digis of their choice from Digi Stamp Boutique - a fantastic prize!  You have to be in it to win it so start creating those card with the sketch provided!

This is such a perfect image for the Father's Day card I created for my husband.  It's called "Snoozing Stan" from Digi Stamp Boutique but you could easily call it Snoozing Jim for my household. The kids thought this was a great card for their dad - very typically of a weekend morning in our house and because of the sentiment, since he always says I'm just going to relax for minute and then this is the result!

Now head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday and see the rest of the fun cards created for your inspiration using Digi Stamp Boutique images.

Contemplating....

Happy Wednesday friends! It's time for another new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we have a terrific sketch and new sponsor this week.  Let's get started...

Our team mate, Sally, created this fabulous sketch for the challenge this week. I love the woven look of the strips and ribbon on the left - it adds such great interest to this layout.

Stamp-n-Doodle is a new sponsor here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and we're delighted to spotlight the wonderful digis offered there by Lynne, the owner.  Lots of realistic child images and animals can be found at Stamp-n-Doodle.  The Grand Prize winner of this week's challenge will receive 2 free digi images of their choice from Stamp-n-Doodle.  Thanks for joining our sponsorship rolls Lynne and your generous prize offering!

I chose this sweet girl called "Feeling Down" for my card sample this week. It looks more like she is contemplating something than being sad or down and this image intrigued me. She was colored with Copics and the papers used are from Stampin Up.

The design team created such wonderful cards this week showcasing Stamp-n-Doodle images. Stop on by Sweet Sketch Wednesday and take a look at the inspiration there.

Too Sweet Kitty

Happy Wednesday friends! It's been quite a week in my neck of the woods. My son is off at the U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar - a special week for prospective admission candidates - and he's getting quite the submersion in the rigors of a Navy career. Our correspondence has been very brief throughout the week which just keeps thoughts of him in my mind every day wondering how things are going.  And we're in the midst of prep for high school finals on top of that. I'm looking forward to their summer break with a more relaxed pace the next few months.

Today's new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday features Meljen's Designs - some of the card-making world's most favored digi stamps. It's been a little while here since we've had the opportunity to create with Melissa's whimical images and it was fun to use them again.

Here's the sketch for the challenge this week created by our own Sally from the design team. I love Sally's sketches and this one was fun to create with and suits just about any image you would have.

Meljen's Designs :: Digital Stamps by Melissa Jenkins
We welcome back Meljen's Designs as the sponsor of this week's challenge.  The Grand Prize winner of the challenge will receive 4 adorable digis of their choice from Meljen's Designs - a very generous prize package. Thanks Melissa!

For the challenge this week, I created my card using Meljen's Designs "Too Sweet Kitty" digi and this cat is definitely sweet! It's perfect for all occasions and celebrations too. I brought it to life with Copic markers and used papers from MME Tangerine collection.
