Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Meljen's Designs

Happy Wednesday! We're in the middle of the biggest snow storm in the past several years, the kids are out of school today and I can't get out of the driveway to go to work - no problems with that!  So it's a perfect time to showcase this card for the new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday featuring Meljen's Designs as the sponsor this week.

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily growing! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

The grand prize winner of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week will win 4 Meljen's digi stamps of your choice so you'll definitely want to join us in the fun!

And here's this week's challenge sketch - another beauty from Arlana. I think you'll find this one a lot of fun to create with so give it a try and join us in the fun this week.

I've used "Frog Prince" from Meljen's Designs on my card for this week's challenge. An adorable image isn't it? A perfect image for a Valentine's card too but versatile for any occasion throughout the year. This darling frog was colored with Copic markers and the papers used today are from K&Company. Spellbinder's Lacey Circles Nesties were used and a Martha Stewart heart punch as well.

Now be sure to visit Sweet Sketch Wednesday to get inspired by our design team and their wonderful creations this week featuring Meljen's Design images. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Meljens Designs Challenge - "Put your Heart on it" - create something with hearts

Gorgeous card Sharon!!!!! Such wonderful colors! Those papers are totally mag also. (I think I'm dating myself with that mag comment!!!!) LOL!!
Stay warm and stay safe! It was around this time last year we got dumped with 2 feet of snow, so I know exactly what you're going thru! Don't let the kids go out and play in it, they'll go into the snow and you won't be able to find them!!!!!!!

Hi Sharon, great minds think alike. Love your image and the great colours used. Love your heart papers and the lace nestability used looks great just love it. How is your DH back??? What a shame that you couldn't go to work today crafting instead. Keep warm all that snow over in the States is amazing and here we are in this heat and humidity!!!

Oh Sharon...what yummy, yummy papers...They really set the tone for your card! I love your lacey nestabilities and the MS heart punch. I need to use my lacey nesti and I keep looking for that MS heart punch but they have all been snatched up! Your card just couldn't be any cuter as usual. This frog turns out so cute...you could almost kiss him!!!
