Happy Wednesday friends! It's time for another challenge at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday with the fun
Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor this week. Being part of the over-50 club and my birthday this Saturday, this image expresses exactly how I feel - hah, hah! So let's not dwell on another year's passing, instead let's take a look at this week's sketch...
We're repurposing a sketch from the past - this one drawn up by Arlana first appeared in challenge week 163 and it's a dandy to be repeated. I like the layered look that is achieved with this but it's not too fussy either.
Just for fun, here's my card from the first time this sketch appeared in July 2012.
The sponsor of the
Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge this week is everyone's favorite -
Bugaboo Stamps. There's a ton of sweet, whimsical and hysterical images that Jodi creates there. The grand prize winner of the challenge this week will receive
7 free Bugaboo digis totaling $21. A super prize package - thanks Jodi for your generous support!
The Stella character images at Bugaboo are by far my favorites! And as I said, this one especially spoke to me this week. It's called
Stella - One More Candle and was colored with Copic markers to match the MME papers I selected. I used crystal lacquer in several areas, along with a glitter pen, to make the image shiny and sparkly on the details. Such a fun birthday card don't you think?!
So now, you'll have to stop on by
Sweet Sketch Wednesday and check out all the fun cards the team created using these wonderful
Bugaboo Stamps. I hope you'll find some time to join us in the challenge this week too!
Thanks for stopping by!
