Swinging into Spring with Doodle Pantry

Back again today with a cute card featuring a Doodle Pantry image called "Caterpillar Swing". This was released in March and is the cutest darn thing. I finally found some time to color it up with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.

I wanted a little softer look for this fluffy little caterpillar and I find that the pencils provide that look the best.  I colored the image and cut it out around the outside. It was placed on a rectangle panel that was also colored in the same blue pencils. The bottom was popped up a bit to make it look like he was swinging out from the card.

You can see the dimension a little better in this photo.  I used papers from The Girl's Paperie (plaid background paper) and Three Bugs in a Rug (green polka dot paper).  The flower is handmade using the same papers and SU Daffodil cardstock.

There's still time to enter the current Doodle Pantry challenge which is "Bursting with Buttons" and use a Doodle Pantry image.  Three winners will be selected and receive $3 toward your choice of digi stamps in the Doodle Pantry Shop. The challenge will close on April 30 so hurry and get yours entered today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
