Celebrating 100 Sketches at SSW!

Happy Wednesday everyone! This is an exciting day over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday because Arlana Patten, owner of SSW, has just published her 100th sketch. We're celebrating this milestone with prizes, special offers from sponsors and a blog hop too. If you've arrived here from Linda's blog you're on the right track. If not, head on over to Sweet Sketch Wednesday for the blog hop and celebration details and begin from there. We have a lot going on this week to celebrate 100 sketches and I know you won't want to miss a thing!  So let's get started ...
To begin we have to recognize and thank our wonderful sponsor of the 100th challenge: A Day for Daisies.  Tammy, owner of ADFD, is generously offering several prizes to our followers that participate in the challenge this week:

1.  A 10% discount coupon for any purchase on her site.  The coupon code is ADFD100 FUN and is valid starting today through May 10th. This is valid only for Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge participants.
2.  Challenge participants receive a freebie from Tammy at A Day for Daisies
3.  The Top Three challenge award winners will receive a free image from A Day for Daisies
4.  The Grand Prize Winner will receive a Custom Photo Stamp from A Day for Daisies (Tammy will create a stamp from the winner's favorite photo).

And the Grand Prize winner of the challenge this week, SSW100, will also receive this blog candy from Arlana:
So you can be a big winner this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday just for playing in the challenge! I am also offering blog candy to Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge participants - see details toward the end of this post.

Here's the 100th sketch! Another fantastic sketch from Arlana. I think you'll find this one pretty simple to put together but it yields a beautiful and interesting card.

Here's a closeup of my 100th sketch card using A Day For Daisies image called "Peacock Magic". I used Copic markers and tried to capture the the flowing, layered and transparent qualities of tulle fabric which is what I envisioned a gown like this would be made of.  I added dots of glitter to add to the ethereal feel of the card. And of course, also tried to capture the colors of a peacock with a more pastel color base. I think this sweet image turned out great. Finally, the papers are from Bo Bunny.

Now to add to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 100 sketches celebration, I am offering a little blog candy too! Here's what you have to do to be in the drawing for this prize:  Become a follower of Inklined to Stamp, leave a comment at this post - tell me there if you are a new follower, participate in the challenge this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I will randomly draw from all the comments from followers that are left on this post by Tuesday, May 11 at midnight EDT and announce the winner Wednesday morning in my next Sweet Sketch Wednesday post.

And finally, on to the blog hop!  The order of the hop is below so you'll know where you are. Only a few more blogs to hop to from here :)  The next stop for you is to visit A Day For Daisies and leave comment there.

(Sketch designer and owner of Sweet Sketch Wednesday)

Sharon (You're Here)

Sharon, I have to tell you that when you chose this image I could hardly wait to see how you would create with it! Wow! Your colors are spectacular! So soft but so showy! Just like the peacock on our farm growing up! We loved to see him spread his feathers! Isn't that what girls do when they put on a new dress! She is precious! You captured the mood perfectly! And the little bit of sparkle just makes it all have that twinkly feeling! Happy 100th celebration!

Sharon I just adore your card and the image. You've coloured it perfectly to match you papers and it was a perfect idea to change the colours of the Organza dress to show the floating feeling of it you can see her dancing through the meadows and lifting her dress as she goes. Your card is beautiful and I just love your colours. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.
