Robin in Winter

Happy Wednesday! Time for a new challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and today we're showcasing one of my favorite sponsors A Day For Daisies.  This digi stamp is called "Robin in Winter" and I really like the simplicity of it with the sketch.

Here's Arlana's fantastic sketch to follow for this week's challenge. I love the clean and simple look of this sketch.

A Day For Daisies is our sponsor this week.  Tammy, owner and illustrator of ADFD, is offering the Grand Prize winner of the challenge a $12 gift certificate for A Day For Daisies digi stamps. This is such a terrific prize - I hope you'll play along with us in the challenge this week.  Remember to qualify for the Grand Prize you have to leave a comment on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog.

Here's a closeup of the "Robin in Winter" image.  I printed it on SU Bashful Blue cardstock and colored it with Copics. The snow was added with a white gel pen and some Diamond Stickles added for the shimmer.  The snowflake paper is digital from My Time Made Easy called "12 Days of Snowflakes".  The back panel of the card is actually real cherry wood veneer that I picked up at a local craft shop.  I used Chocolate Chip ink around the edges to deepen the color of it.  A sparkly snowflake adds the finishing touch.

The Sweet Sketch Wednesday design team is showcasing a terrific variety of A Day For Daisies digi stamps for inspiration - pop on over to the site to see these beautiful creations.  They're like candy for your eyes!

Thanks for stopping by!
